How many pages should your website have?
I use a Hubspot‘s Website Grader for determining the effectiveness of websites. It takes lots of different factors for your website and gives you tips for improving your web presence.
One of the parameters they take into consideration is the number of pages your site has that have been indexed by Google. In my opinion this is pretty important. In fact, the only thing that is more important is that the content on those pages is on point.
Bar-none the easiest way to get lots of pages on your site is to have a blog that is installed on your domain. Each post is considered its own page and you’re typically producing content that will help your search marketing and social media cred.
Having tons of pages on your site can be a huge pain. Blogging is by far the easiest way to manage it. Hubspot currently claims that I have 192 pages on my website that have been indexed by Google. This is a site that is less than 6 months old! I blog a lot. I create tons of content, and my traffic is growing.
